Winter will be here before we know it and you don't want to miss these final amazing fall events. Friendly for all, come meet the residents at a few of our returning favorite events, Boo! @ The Farm, ThanksLiving Meal and 5k, and Winter Lights and a Movie! These events are all a wonderful opportunity to meet the other wonderful people in the AFS community, get to know the over 230 residents, and see what our mission is all about.
Boo! @ The Farm
October 29

Boo! @ The Farm, named after one of our very own resident cows, is a spooky afternoon of trick or treating fun for all ages with pumpkin smashing, an outdoor market, and a family-friendly outdoor Halloween movie. This event is free for the Farmily (monthly donors) but all are welcome to purchase their tickets and find out more event details here. Don’t forget to bring your own pumpkin to smash for the big pigs, wear your favorite costume and say hi to the Boo himself!

ThanksLiving Meal and 5K
November 29
Follow up Thanksgiving Day at our 2nd Annual ThanksLiving celebration. Walk or run a 5K through the sanctuary followed by a vegan Thanksgiving meal from Counter Culture. Don’t want to walk or run? You are still more than welcome to join in the festivities and enjoy the delicious food, friendly community, and residents we are all thankful for. Don’t hesitate to grab your tickets while they last, here!
Winter Lights and a Movie
December 14
Bring your cozy blankets and get ready to watch a holiday movie under the Texas stars with your loved ones! Filled with fun, love and cheer, this is the perfect way to end the year. Check back in November for tickets!

We hope to see you soon!
Please keep in mind that outside animals are not allowed at AFS for any event to ensure the safety of your family members and our residents. Additionally, please refrain from bringing any food/drinks onto the property that are not plant-based/vegan, out of respect for our mission and residents.
